Write Now.
Do you want to write but struggle to find the time? Do you feel overwhelmed at the thought? Do you have words in your heart but not on the page? It's time to Write Now.
This one-day retreat gives you the time, headspace, ideas and encouragement that you've been looking for to get your words on the page. Come and write with me; Write Now.
The retreat.
No matter how much we want to write, the reality can be a challenge. Finding the time whilst juggling the day-to-day demands of life is tough. When you do get a chance to write, you may feel stuck and not know where to begin. This is where Write Now can help.
The aim of the Write Now retreat day is to help you overcome these barriers and get writing. The relaxed and informal vibe combined with support and motivation allows you to breathe life into your writing, without stress or pressure.
We sit around the kitchen table together, sharing ideas, working through blockers, inspiring and creating together.
You will leave with your heart full of motivation, your mind full of determination and with a reignited passion for your writing. Whatever you are working on, fiction or non-fiction, a passion project or a story that's woven into your soul, together we will find the time, space, energy and creativity to get your words onto the page.
If this sounds right for you then come and join us on 24th May 2025 10am-4.30pm in Rugby, Warwickshire (full address provided on booking) for a day of connecting with your words.
Please note our household is home to two gentle and loveable cockapoos (Bella and Darcy) who cannot wait to welcome you. Whilst they won't be joining us for the retreat itself (they have serious napping to attend to), it is their home and so if you have an allergy to dogs then we may not be a suitable venue for you.

3pm-4pm: Session 3- A journey in words
In this session we talk about the journey of our words. When and where we might want to share them, if we want to share them at all. This is a chance to discuss all things publishing, querying and pitching and ask: Where will your words take you and where will you take your words?

We ask for a £30 non-refundable deposit to secure your place, with the final balance paid no later than 3 weeks before the retreat day.
Cancellation policy:
We really encourage you to give yourself this time to write but we also know that life gets in the way sometimes and plans may need to change.
If you cancel more than 3 weeks prior to the retreat day, then all monies will be returned to you minus your £30 non-refundable deposit. If you need to cancel one week or less before class starts then no monies will be returned unless we are able to fill your slot on the retreat day.
Please note, if you leave the retreat after it has begun, or if you fail to attend all or any part of the retreat no refund will be made. Any refunds made due to illness, bereavement, family emergency etc. will be at our sole discretion and cannot be guaranteed, although we will always try and be reasonable.
We cannot reimburse travel costs or other losses incurred by you in the event of cancellation by us or you.
